Handmade that survives a Saturday night

Most hospitality tableware is chosen for durability and settled for on character. Studio ceramics usually go the other way. We build for both, because a piece that cannot take a busy pass is not tableware — it is decoration.

Fired high, fired dense. Stoneware, not earthenware. Vitrified in the kiln so the body is closed rather than porous — it will not drink up oil, wine or turmeric and carry it into the next service.

Flat glaze, nothing to catch. Our motifs are poured and brushed into the glaze surface, never raised or embossed. Nothing stands proud to chip on a stack, and nothing traps residue in a wash cycle.

Weight judged by hand. Every form is thrown and trimmed to a balance a server can carry twenty times an hour. Substantial in the hand, not heavy on a full tray.

Built to be reordered. Glazes are mixed to recorded recipes and forms are thrown to fixed profiles, so a replacement six months from now sits on the table beside the original without announcing itself.

Plates & platters — dinner, main, side and dessert plates. Rectangular, oval and long platters for sharing and tasting formats.
Bowls — dip and condiment bowls, katori, soup and ramen bowls, wide-rim pasta bowls, deep serving bowls and lidded pots.
Drinkware — tumblers, mugs, kulhads, espresso, cortado, cappuccino and latte cups with matched saucers.
Table accessories — creamers and pourers, cutlery rests, coasters, salt and pepper pinch pots, bud vases for cover settings.

Most of our hospitality work begins as a conversation about a room rather than a product list. We develop glazes to a colour you are already using in the space, and throw forms to a chef’s plating rather than a catalogue size.

Glaze development is done in the studio on test tiles, then on the actual form, because a colour behaves differently across a curve than it does flat. You approve a fired sample in your own light before anything goes into production.

How we work

Brief. Tell us the room, the menu and the covers. We come back with a shortlist of forms and glazes that suit the service, not just the photographs.
Samples. Fired samples of the selected pieces, sent to you. Handle them, wash them, put food on them. Nothing is approved from a screen.
Sign-off. Final glaze, form and quantities confirmed in writing, with the natural variation range agreed up front so there are no surprises at delivery.
Production. Thrown, dried, bisque-fired, glazed and fired again in the Jaipur studio. Each stage is checked by hand, and seconds are pulled before they ever leave.
Delivery and reorder. Packed for transit and delivered to site. Your glaze recipes and form profiles stay on record, so a top-up order matches what is already on your tables.

The details you will ask for anyway

Minimum order. 50 pieces per form, per glaze. You can mix forms and glazes freely within a single order — the minimum applies to each line, not to the order as a whole.

Lead time. 25 days from sign-off for our existing glazes. Bespoke glaze or form development is quoted separately and runs before the 25 days begin.

Samples. Fired samples of any catalogue piece on request, charged at list price plus shipping. The full sample cost is credited against your first production order, so if you go ahead they cost you nothing. Bespoke development carries a separate charge, also credited on order.

Reorders. Glaze recipes and form profiles are held on record indefinitely. Top-up orders run against your original specification, at the same 50-piece minimum.

Care. Dishwasher safe. Microwave safe. Not for open flame or direct stovetop heat.

Variation. Each piece is thrown and glazed by hand, so tone and surface shift slightly across a batch. This is the material behaving honestly, and the agreed range is set at sign-off.

Packing and delivery. Every piece is wrapped individually and packed into double-walled cartons built for freight. We deliver to site anywhere in India, with freight quoted alongside your order. Anything that arrives damaged is replaced at our cost — photograph it and tell us within 48 hours of delivery. Export shipments are quoted case by case.

Payment. 50% on sign-off to begin production, balance before dispatch. GST invoiced against your registered business.
